I made the Pioneer Woman’s BBQ Meatballs last night. I have to tell you, I’m a meatball connoisseur. I love me some meatballs. It doesn’t matter if they are Italian, Hawaiian, or Swedish, just so long as they taste good.
I promise these do. They are slightly tangy and a little bit spicy (I used Cholula instead of tabasco. I just can’t get behind tabasco sauce. Ick.).
Because I am incapable of using a recipe exactly as written, I think next time I’ll put these in the crock pot for a couple hours instead of the oven. It would be nice if they soaked up a little of the sauce while cooking. Yum.
