Between the three of them, it’s almost guaranteed that at any moment at least one of them is moving. When I can get them all going in the same direction, I feel like I’ve accomplished something amazing.
These children, always with the wanting of dinner. EVERY night.
I like cooking when I feel like cooking. When I don’t? I feel like crying a river of salty tears every time I hear a small voice say, “Mama, what’s for dinner?”

Living in the country, where gravel is the preferred paving choice, my kids don’t get many chances to roller skate. In fact, yesterday was the second time in her life that she got on the rink.
I love that she has a huge grin here, even though she can’t let go of the wall. And, I love that roller rinks look exactly the same as they did when I was a kid
