If you’ve been in my house, you might already know my favorite color.
I can’t help but buy everything I see in it. And, when I can’t find something in the right shade, I’ll paint it to match. I’m so predictable.
Also? My cat is an attention whore.
Making Small Town Look Good.
Have I mentioned that I am extremely grateful for my house? I am. But, why am I grateful for this particular house?
Partly because of this bit of stained glass in my front door. When I walked through the big, slightly overgrown garden to look at the tiny cottage house I now call home, the first thing I spotted was this bit of glass. Normally I’m not a big fan of stained glass or roses but it immediately reminded me of one of my favorite books. This was my rose cottage where I could grow into whatever I was supposed to be from now on. That’s how I knew magic could happen here.
I wasn’t wrong.
Day one of the gratitude photo project told me to find my favorite food and be grateful for it. I have lots of favorite foods, but do you know what I’m most grateful for? Coffee.
Every. Single. Day. In my world, coffee is it’s own food group.
But I am especially grateful for coffee that comes courtesy of a wonderful friend’s housewarming gift. So, the score is: I’m grateful for coffee and I’m grateful for Deena Mae. Yep. That about covers it.
