Because she can. And, because she’s so darn cute while she does it, nobody is going to stop her. Even when she does it over and over and over and over and over and over and over.
That’s a good life lesson for you folks: It pays to be adorable.
Making Small Town Look Good.
Everything around here is starting to look like it might be close to fall. It’s still in the high nineties for now, but I can tell it isn’t going to last very long. Any day now I’ll be pulling out my winter coats and complaining about being cold. You can blame the over-abundance of poison oak in my driveway that is turning a brilliant red. Red leaves equal fall.
I got this lovely shot full of fall colors because I forgot to whack these weeds like a good little girl. It’s a good thing I’m lazy because these colors make me unreasonably happy.
I know, I know, Summer doesn’t end until sometime in Mid-September. But in my world, Summer starts on the last day of school and fall begins on September first. Which makes August 31st the Last Day of Summer.
Technically, this is not the top of our property and this is not the end of Summer, but it’s close enough so we’re going with it.
